LIUNA Local 625 receives TDA (Training Delivery Agent) status
The Labourers’ International Union of North America Local 625 in Windsor ON has received final approval as a registered Training Delivery Agent from the Ontario Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities.
Local Secretary Treasurer and Training Director Bill Moreland states that “this designation will usher in a new era of quality training and skill enhancement for local members of the Labourers’ Union”
“The CCW (Construction Craft Worker) Red Sealed apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs that will soon be offered at our new training centre will enhance the skills and knowledge of our members and offer training and employability to members of the community who are looking to transition into the construction industry” said Moreland.
Applications for the CCW apprenticeship and pre-apprentice program will begin soon with course offerings to begin by fall of 2010.
